Growing up, my sister was the beauty expert --tearing out beauty editorials from magazines and buying makeup books-- while I was (and still am) a big geek who couldn't be bothered. The only things I ever tore out of magazines were photos of Orlando Bloom and I preferred reading Harry Potter to beauty manuals.
