What You Need
-1 yard of rope cord
-1 yard of thin chain
-2 jewelry end caps that fit the rope
-2 jump rings
-1 clasp
-E6000 glue
-Jewelry pliers
-Toothpicks

Line Up Cord And Chain
Line up the cord and chain next to each other.

Tie Slipknot
Keeping the cord and chain together, tie a slipknot about 8 inches from one end.

Create Second Loop
Reach through the loop of the slipknot, and pull a section of the cord and chain through, creating a second loop.

Make Another Loop
Reach through the second loop, and pull more cord and chain through to make another loop.

Wrap And Glue Chain
Wrap the hanging chain section around the cord and secure with E6000 glue. Repeat with the other side.

Repeat And Knot Braid
Repeat, creating a looped braid until you are about 8 inches from the end. On the last loop, pull the cord and chain all the way though to knot the braid.

Attach Jump Rings To End Caps
Use the pliers to attach a jump ring to one of the end caps. Link the other jump ring to the second end cap and the clasp.

Attach End Caps To Cord
Spread E6000 glue inside the end caps. Insert the ends of the cord into the end caps, and allow the glue to dry.
