It's always been a huge part of my life since day one. I wanted clothing that I couldn't find, so I decided to make it.

Junya Watanabe and Lanvin's Alber Elbaz.
4/10What is the most unexpected thing you've experienced designing?
I have an all-Japanese design team, and none of them speak English. So it's often funny and surprising how my ideas end up lost in translation. Another thing is how time-consuming the process is.
5/10Whose style is making you take notice right now?
I love the way Charlize Theron and Kate Moss dress.
6/10Where is your favorite place in the world?
Japan, for sure — the energy, the people, the city, the art.

8/10What excites you most about the success of your label, Billionaire Boys Club?
It's really amazing when I see kids wearing the label at my shows or on the streets. It never gets old.
