It feels like only a matter of time before Dua Lipa packs her bags and moves to a pineapple under the sea. The Future Nostalgia singer can't stop wearing SpongeBob SquarePants gear but in a fashion-forward way.

Dua recently showed off her SpongeBob fandom in a handful of fun candid pics posted to Instagram. At first, her bright yellow cropped leather jacket and matching miniskirt look like a Kill Bill-inspired leather suit, but there's a surprise under her long dark hair is — drum roll, a please — SpongeBob's face. The yellow and white moto-style jacket is part of GCDS's Spring/Summer 2023 collection, which includes a few SpongeBob-centric pieces.

Dua's jacket is currently available on the GCDS website for nearly $3000, and the miniskirt retails for $1125 — not exactly budget-friendly or achievable on a Krusty Krab salary, but definitely the right way to do pop culture fashion. (That said, if loooove the stylish crossover, you can always get a plain yellow jacket and get crafty with some thick tip fabric markers for a similar, DIY look!)

Dua styled the look with a white T-shirt and a pair of shiny metallic silver boots instead of SpongeBob's khaki shorts and red tie.

This isn't the first time the pop star has shouted out her favorite SpongeBob characters. In late November, she slipped into a see-through pink crochet gown with Patrick Star nipple covers, also from GCDS. Her gown isn't available on their website, but if you want you can scoop up the Patrick Bikini for $360 for a similar vibe that will really make a splash at the beach this summer.

Much like Dua herself, GCDS loves a collab. Not only do they have a SpongeBob collection, they've also teamed up with fellow pop culture icons like Hello Kitty and the infinitely glam Bratz dolls. The SpongeBob pieces are perfectly tongue-in-cheek, blending high fashion tailoring with a cartoon twist, and we certainly can't blame Dua for channeling the plucky little yellow sponge.
