The Barbie Movie Rollerblades Will Be Available to Everyone, Thanks to Skate Brand Impala

This could ~literally~ be us.

Citizens of Barbie land, rejoice because soon we'll be able to dance the night away (at the roller rink) in Barbie-certified gear thanks to Impala. The iconic skate brand is collaborating with the upcoming summer blockbuster to kit us out with the exact same skating gear Margot Robbie's Barbie and Ryan Gosling's Ken sport in the Greta Gerwig film.

The capsule, officially arriving on June 1, includes Bright Yellow Lightspeed Inline Skates — the very ones that Ken will "literally go nowhere without" — as well as the Bright Yellow Protective Set — elbow pads, wrist pads, and knee pads — that matches the couple's look once they arrive in the Real World. All items will also be available in youth sizing, so rest assured, everyone will be living our full Barbiecore fantasy come July 21 when Barbie hits theaters.

To round out the limited edition collection, the Sock 3PK comprises one blue and two pink pairs, one of which says, "This is the best day ever!" Feel free to wear that pair any day of the week because every day is the best day ever for Barbie. "Barbie has a great day every day," Helen Mirren, who plays the narrator in the film, says through voiceover. But "Ken only has a great day if Barbie looks at him." Surely Ken needs only rock the full Impala capsule, and he's halfway there.

Of course, the recent Barbie trailers aren't the first we've seen of Barbie and Ken's full fluorescent rollerblade look. Snaps from filming last June gave us a glimpse of stars Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling skating along Venice Beach, spawning a myriad of memes and outfit jokes that captivated the internet and helped kick off the hot pink Barbiecore trend

The Barbie x Impala collab retails from $26.95 to $189.95 and will be available on Impala's, and select shops. No word yet on if the multicolored visor and clothing will also be made available in the lead-up to the movie, but with this collab already, summer 2023 is definitely for the dolls.
