Heather Morris is remembering Naya Rivera on the one-year anniversary of her death with a sentimental tribute.
On July 9, the Glee alum shared several pictures on Instagram, including a tattoo she recently got in memory of her co-star, who passed away in July 2020. The ink, which is done in delicate script lettering against her forearm, reads “tomorrow is not promised.” The phrase is an homage to one of Naya’s final tweets prior to her disappearance last summer, when the actor wrote, “No matter the year, circumstance, or strifes everyday you're alive is a blessing. Make the most of today and every day you are given. Tomorrow is not promised.”
Heather’s post also contained a photo of Naya, along with a moving caption honoring her friend and co-star. “You are the brightest star in my eyes Naya Rivera,” she wrote. “I’m so grateful GOD LAYED A HAND and brought us together as best friends, mom friends, scene partners, and everything in between. Your legacy lives on in kindness and being 'that sassy queen' in my eyes. I love you forever bebe girl.”
